Fun is coming back to the County, even if only for 1 day. Fun Day formerly Sheriff’s Fun Day” is coming back to the county, but not quite like once before. A once successful event free to the public and youth was halted. Right in MLK Park on the North side, home to the University of Arkansas of Pine Bluff and not much else, former Sheriff, now County Judge Gerald Robinson gave the youth a day of fun. Once leadership changed at the Sheriff office Fun Day was no more. Calls and text of volunteers eager to participate were left with disappointing news. Well now YES is proud to announce its partnership with Jefferson County and the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission for Jefferson County Fun Day. Same location, same mission, same vison. As long as the word FUN is in the title we don’t mind the name change.
Come out Saturday May 20, 2023 at MLK Park in Pine Bluff from 8am-3pm. This highly anticipated event will bring together families, businesses, and citizens from all over Jefferson County for fun and fellowship. We’ll have a variety of activities for our youth and children, including a fishing derby, rides and games, free food, and giveaways!!
